๐ Position Overview
Virtusa is looking for experienced QA Engineers who are passionate about delivering high-quality software solutions through effective testing strategies and robust automation frameworks. The selected candidates will work closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams to ensure application quality across UI, APIs, and enterprise systems. This role requires professionals who can independently design automation scripts, execute manual and automated tests, identify defects, and contribute throughout the Software Testing Life Cycle. Candidates should have strong expertise in Selenium or Playwright automation, API testing using Postman or REST Assured, Core Java, SQL, and Agile practices. Immediate joiners with recent hands-on experience in UI and API testing are strongly preferred.
๐ฏ Key Responsibilities
๐น Design and execute Manual and Automation Test Cases.
๐น Develop and maintain Selenium or Playwright automation frameworks.
๐น Perform UI, Functional, Regression, Smoke, and Sanity Testing.
๐น Execute API Testing using Postman and REST Assured.
๐น Validate backend data using SQL queries.
๐น Design reusable automation scripts using POM and TestNG.
๐น Perform BDD testing using Cucumber.
๐น Log and track defects efficiently.
๐น Collaborate with developers during defect resolution.
