As a Software Tester, your responsibilities will include:
โ Following the complete software testing lifecycle based on project requirements.
โ Adhering to Casepoint’s testing procedures and quality standards.
โ Preparing test scripts and test cases under the guidance of the Test Lead.
โ Executing manual and automated test cases according to defined plans.
โ Performing functional validation and software testing activities.
โ Recording test execution results accurately.
โ Identifying, documenting, and reporting software defects.
โ Following established bug reporting procedures.
โ Providing daily progress updates to the reporting manager.
โ Ensuring repeatable testing processes with proper documentation.
๐ Required Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess:
โ 0.6 to 3 years of experience in Software Testing.
โ Good understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
โ Knowledge of Bug Tracking and Bug Reporting processes.
โ Experience in generating Test Cases and Test Scenarios.
โ Strong documentation skills.
โ Hands-on exposure to automation tools such as:
