As an Automation Test Engineer at Test Yantra, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automated testing frameworks and suites for APIs, graph-based systems, and event-driven services.
You will collaborate with Cloud Security, Engineering, and DevOps teams to ensure that systems meet both functional and non-functional requirements while maintaining high reliability, scalability, and security standards.

- Strong experience building and maintaining automation frameworks
- Expertise in API automation and automated test suites
- Hands-on experience with Python and PyTest

- Experience validating REST APIs and service contracts
- Replay and reprocessing scenario testing
- Functional and non-functional test execution
π IAM & Security Testing
- Strong understanding of IAM concepts including:
- RBAC (Role-Based Access Control)
- ABAC (Attribute-Based Access Control)
- ReBAC (Relationship-Based Access Control)
- PBAC (Policy-Based Access Control)
β CI/CD & DevOps
- Experience creating and managing Jenkins pipelines
- CI/CD integration and automated reporting
- Collaboration with DevOps and Cloud Security teams
π Graph & Event Validation
- Experience validating graph data structures
- Understanding of event lineage and change behavior
- Exposure to Neo4J is preferred
π Defect Management
- Experience using JIRA and Zephyr
- Bug tracking, defect triaging, and issue resolution workflows
π Additional Requirements
The following experience levels are specifically required for this role:

π― Key Responsibilities
As an Automation Test Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
β Automation Framework Development
Build, maintain, and improve scalable automation testing frameworks for APIs, graph services, and event-based systems.
β Test Planning & Execution
Define and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test data aligned with business requirements and technical specifications.
β IAM & Policy Validation
Validate access control models and test policy-as-code implementations to ensure secure system behavior.
β API & Contract Validation
Perform API automation, contract testing, replay testing, and data validation across multiple environments.
β CI/CD Pipeline Integration
Create and maintain Jenkins pipelines for automated test execution, reporting, and continuous quality monitoring.
β Defect Tracking & Reporting
Log, track, and manage defects through resolution using JIRA and Zephyr while communicating progress to stakeholders.
β Collaboration Across Teams
Work closely with Engineering, Cloud Security, QA, and DevOps teams to improve overall software quality and system reliability.
β Governance & Compliance
Support test governance activities, maintain traceability, and generate regulatory evidence where required.
